Hello, my name is Lisa Anderson and welcome to my page. I am currently looking for a horse-related job.

I live in Lockport, IL and I can travel up to 40 minutes. I am 19 years old and I have been riding for a little over 14 years. I have 14 years of english-hunter-jumper experience, basic dressage, equitation, and western riding. I also have some experience with cross country/eventing. I have had tons of jobs which include trail guide, pony parties, cleaning stalls, grooming, training young/green horses, showing sale horses, turnout, exercising, teaching younger kids, and training/riding/showing ponies (because I am small enough to ride ponies and strong enough to handle big, high spirited horses).


I have tons of experience on trails, I can "pony" other horses, I have 3 1/2 years of pony party experience, I have cleaned the WORST of stalls, and grooming comes natural to me. I have trained and aided in the training of several horses and ponies throughout the years. They include all of the following that I can remember:

-5 year old Quarter Horse Gelding: Jumping training

-3 year old Pony Gelding: First few months of training

-*3 year old Quarter Horse Gelding: Naughty habits and flat work (was claimed to be crazy...he wasn't, just needed some TLC and constant riding throughout each week)

-11? year old spirited pony: I rode him because a little girl would not be able to handle him: he was only 12.3hh

-*2 year old Paint Colt: Bridle/Saddle train-rode for first months training

-*6 year old Quarter/Mustang Mare: Taught to listen to the rider

-*6 year old QH/TB Cross (My first horse): Hyper horse under saddle, calmed him down.

* I trained these one's on my own

I also have tons of experience with turnout and handeling high spirited horses such as Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and Warmbloods. I also have experience handeling draft horses and young horses.(This was one of my favorite jobs)

I also have experience training younger kids... or basically anyone who is in their first stage of riding.

I can do anything that deals with horses, I can also clean tack, and I could even be a race-horse exercise rider.

Horses are my passion in life.
